Currently, ATAL is working towards addressing labour shortage with robotics, enhancing safety for workers at height, and exploring cost effective solutions for monitoring indoor E&M works in addition to subcontracting work efficiency.

Ir Dr Otto Poon, Chairman of ATAL Engineering Group said, “The Group is honoured to be a part of this ambitious step forward for innovation in Hong Kong. As one of our core competencies, innovation is vital to ATAL’s long-term growth, and we look forward to contributing our experience and innovative strengths to the programme. Joining the ConTech Accelerator programme is another step for ATAL in furthering its innovative work culture, with the Group steadily improving its in-house research and development (R&D) capacity and employee participation. Driven by its Innovation Committee comprising of members from senior management and various departments, ATAL established its Innovation Fund to provide support for innovation-driven projects and started the biennial Chairman’s Innovation Awards to foster Innovative Culture. Our goal is to encourage innovation in all aspects of the Group’s work for quality, excellence, operation efficiency and safety.
