Technical Officer (Lai Chi Kok) (REF.: ADCM/TO)
Responsibilities:
- As duty officer responsible for electrical and mechanical system operation / maintenance of the data centre facilities;
- Perform normal or shift duty on irregular hours to provide 24-hour round the clock services throughout the year;
- Supervise technicians for data centre E&M operation during required shift duties to ensure efficient and effective operations of the facilities, the system, the plant and associated equipment.
- Supervise technicians and contractor to commence preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and emergency repair in accordance with the required Service Availability Level.
- Coordinate with Client’s operation team to response enquiries during normal operation
- Assist the Facilities Manager/ Assistant Facilities Managers to maintain data centre equipment/ system performance to meet the client’s required service level agreement.
- Assist the Facilities Manager/ Assistant Facilities Managers to response enquiries during incident/ event for necessary status update.
Requirements:
- Higher Certificate or Higher Diploma holder or above in Electrical or Mechanical or Building Services Engineering ;
- At least five (5) years’ recognized relevant experience in electrical or building services engineering field, including at least two years’ experience in supervisory level;
- Holder of valid Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker at Grade A or above
- Holder of valid Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card)
- REW C0 holder is preferred
