ATAL Presents Innovative Insights on Digital Twin to Create Value to Customers and Environment

ATAL has actively participated in the “CIC Digital Twin Hub Sharing” organised by the Construction Industry Council. The event fosters knowledge exchange and inspiration in the fields of Digital Twin technology. ATAL’s engagement in the new CIC Digital Twin Hub offers an invaluable opportunity for our Group to display our latest technologies and highlight the practical applications of Digital Twin. This initiative not only advances community development but also offers significant benefits to customers.
The session, attended by approximately 80 industry professionals, began with Mr Derek So, Senior Business Development Manager of our Information, Communications and Building Technologies (ICBT) business segment, discussing how integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) into Digital Twin automates critical aspects such as data collection, analysis, visualisation, and reporting. The integrated synergy enhances energy efficiency, maintenance, emergency response, and indoor air quality for property stakeholders, while also helping organisations in adhering to sustainable regulatory requirements related to ESG reporting.
Following his presentation, Ms Alvis Fong, Sales and Marketing Manager of Smart Data Automation, shared how our Group integrates electrical and mechanical engineering expertise with AI to enhance infrastructure and operations within smart cities. She showcased ATAL’s AlgoWater, an AI-enabled solution for water and wastewater treatment, detailing how it predicts water quality and optimises chemical usage, reducing costs and improving environmental sustainability.
“Sharing sessions like the CIC Digital Twin Hub enable our Group to directly engage with the broader sectors of the electrical, mechanical, construction, and architectural industries, which further bolsters community development initiatives,” stated Ir Steven Lai, ATAL’s Chief Executive of Environmental Engineering. “ATAL’s continued innovative capabilities are a testament to our Group’s commitment to in-house technological development, designed to deliver unparalleled value to our customers,” added Ir Lai.
Digital Twin technology represents a sophisticated virtual modelling technique that mirrors its physical counterpart with high accuracy. It empowers users to conserve resources, boost efficiency, and promote sustainability, marking a significant step forward in technological innovation.
