A dedicated team of professional engineers provides design, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of E&M services for infrastructure and healthcare facilities. This highly qualified, experienced team has successfully completed major infrastructure projects including railway stations, deports, and tunnels, as well as healthcare facilities in the form of public and private hospitals. Our expertise includes tunnel ventilation, rail station Environmental Control Systems (ECS), and in healthcare projects, clinical isolation wards, air controls for operating theatres and air-borne contamination and environmental controls.
After our first building services project in the healthcare sector awarded in 2014, ATAL secured several contracts in the following years, including redevelopment of a private hospital in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, three hospital services projects for Castle Peak Hospital, Our Lady of Maryknoll Hospital and Hospital Authority.
In 2017, the Hong Kong government announced a HK$200b budget for the next ten years, which will provide significant opportunities for the construction of healthcare facilities and related infrastructure. For infrastructure more broadly, Hong Kong has numerous large projects underway or in the pipeline, including the construction of the third runway at Hong Kong International Airport and the expansion and upgrading of existing airport facilities, as well as tunnel, road and railway extension projects and public housing complexes in Hong Kong’s “New Towns”. All of these will create demand for specialised electrical and mechanical engineering services. Over the years, the Group has been awarded several large-scale E&M contracts, including electrical and mechanical services for automation of arrival bags delivery and Intermodal Transfer Terminal Building and Skypier project at Hong Kong International Airport, and Express Rail Link Pat Heung Depot.
