ATAL’s AMSFS III Wins “Certificate of Merit” in “Hong Kong Green Innovations Awards”
安樂工程一體化磁介質高效沉澱池於「香港綠色創新大獎」榮獲「優異獎」

ATAL Engineering Group’s in-house developed wastewater treatment technology “ATAL Multi-Stages Flocculation Sedimentation III (AMSFS III)” has won a “Certificate of Merit” in the “2021 Hong Kong Green Innovations Awards” organised by the Environmental Campaign Committee.

The award aims to encourage organisations to develop innovative, green and practicable ideas into gadgets, equipment or systems to solve environmental problems or improve environmental performance. ATAL’s Chief Executive Officer Ir Raymond Chan, Chief Executive of Environmental Engineering Ir Steven Lai, Senior Project Engineers Dr Tracy Lu and Mr Percy Li attended the Award Presentation Ceremony on behalf of ATAL.

Co-designed and built by ATAL’s Hong Kong and Mainland China teams, AMSFS III is an all-in-one wastewater treatment system leveraging the latest construction technologies including Building Information Modelling (BIM), Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) and Multi-Trade integrated Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MiMEP).

The system is containerised and can be installed underground. Given its small footprint of less than 50m2, AMSFS III provides greater flexibility while reducing the negative impact on the surrounding environment, such as dust and noise pollution at site.

On the cost and performance front, the fully automatic system has remote monitoring capability to reduce the number of operators needed, which is highly efficient and saves labour and maintenance costs.

The award testifies ATAL’s contributions to the green innovations, resulting in real benefits to the environment and the community. It also recognises our Group’s cross-border teams’ collaborations and capability of in-house technological development.
