ATAL Garners Three Awards in “Hong Kong Green and Sustainability Contribution Awards 2023”

ATAL Engineering Group (ATAL) has demonstrated its sustainability achievements by garnering recognition in the “Hong Kong Green and Sustainability Contribution Awards 2023” organised by the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency (HKQAA). Our Group was honoured with three awards for promoting “Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) Adoption”, “Eco-friendly Construction” and “Safe Construction”. Additionally, ATAL projects received 15 “Golden Seals for Contribution to Liveable City Construction” across these categories.

The Awards aim to encourage the business community to enhance sustainability performance, and support the Government in fostering a green economy and building a liveable city.

Mr Benny Liu, ATAL’s Chief Operating Officer, stated, “We are delighted with receiving the awards as they serve as a testament to our Group’s contribution in the promotion of MiC to enhance project efficiency, optimise resources and minimise waste. The achievement reflects our commitment to maintaining a safe and eco-friendly construction environment and promoting new construction technologies.”

As a pioneer in environmental engineering for more than four decades, ATAL has consistently advocated for environmentally responsible practices. With the launch of our Corporate Sustainability Strategy, our Group adopts a more targeted and integrated approach to achieving sustainable development.

The Strategy is built on four pillars: decarbonising our operations, driving smart city development, co-creating a shared value chain, and advancing our people. By integrating sustainability into our Group’s operations, our Corporate Sustainability Strategy aims to create shared value and long-term benefits for our customers and other stakeholders in the community, as we strive to build a smarter and low-carbon future together.

Mr Liu highlighted, “These awards affirm our strong commitment and tangible progress in contributing to the transformation of Hong Kong into a smart and liveable city”.

ATAL received “Outstanding Awards for Excellent Contribution to Liveable City Construction (Subcontractor)” in promoting “MiC Adoption”, “Eco-friendly Construction”, and “Safe Construction”.
