Commitment to Occupational Safety & Health: Analogue Wins Three OSH Awards

重視職安健 : 安樂工程集團榮膺三項職安健殊榮

Occupational safety and health (OSH) are top priorities at Analogue Holdings Limited (stock code: 1977). The Group is delighted to have won three awards in the Hong Kong Occupational Safety and Health Award 2021, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the award scheme.

Ir Victor Law, Executive Director of Analogue Holdings Limited, said, “The awards are a great honour to the Group which has spared no efforts in minimising our industrial accident rate to be below the industry average for years. As Hong Kong’s leading electrical and mechanical (E&M) engineering service provider, we are committed to fostering a safety culture which cares for the wellbeing of all our employees, contractors and subcontractor workers.”

Our awards include the OSH Annual Report Award – Bronze, which recognises excellence in the presentation of the Group’s OSH performance and community development achievements. Another award is the Safety Performance Award – Construction Industries – Excellence, for our work in the ATAL-Degrement-China Harbour JV to design, build and operate the San Wai Sewage Treatment Works Phase 1 project, acknowledging our OSH best practices in daily operations. Entrants in this category must also have a good safety record in the past three years. The third award is the OSH MVP Award – 10 Years Plus, which recognises the Group’s efforts in practising OSH, participating in, and winning the awards over the past years.

The Group has a robust OSH management system with clear policies, objectives, targets, and evaluation mechanisms in place. Guided by our Corporate Social Responsibility Policy Statement and supported by an integrated OSH management system with ISO 45001:2018 certification, the Group carries out diverse OSH activities at both corporate and subsidiary levels. These include risk identification and hazard elimination measures, OSH training, communication, site walks and briefings, safety behaviour promotional activities, compliance evaluation and analysis of accident statistics for improvement measures, and the use of technology such as smart wearables to track site worker movements, and Virtual Reality (VR) safety training for lift workers. Our outstanding performance in fighting COVID-19 in the past two years has also enhanced the safety, health, and mental wellbeing of staff in the pandemic.

“The OSH awards are a testament to our Group’s outstanding performance in occupational safety and health, demonstrating our commitment to fostering a safe and people-centric workplace.” said Ir Law.
