ATAL’s outstanding performance as a listed company has won multiple awards for the Group, including becoming one of the “Listed Enterprises of the Year 2021” in an award organised by the Chinese Edition of the Bloomberg Businessweek. We were also recognised for our outstanding performance in the “Best Corporate Governance” award category.
The award attracted entries by listed companies from diverse sectors, such as real estate, industrials, communication, education, financing and biotechnology. Analogue Holdings Limited (Stock Code: 1977), the parent company of ATAL, is the only electrical and mechanical (E&M) engineering group among the winners. Dr Otto Poon, Chairman of ATAL Engineering Group, said, “We are honoured to receive the awards and will continue to strive for excellence as we fulfil our responsibilities to our investors, clients, employees, regulators, the industry and other stakeholders including the community and the environment.”
Participating companies go through a two-stage process. They have to first pass a Bloomberg data screening based on their business/financial performance, corporate governance, investor relations, development strategy, corporate social responsibility, sustainability, innovation and risk management, followed by assessment by a panel of judges. The highest scoring companies win the accolades.
ATAL demonstrates all-rounded strengths in above areas, notably our steady business and financial performance and impressive growth in the past two years since listing in 2019. In corporate governance and investor relations, we spare no efforts to put in place robust systems and practices to ensure compliance, accountability, transparency and effective communication. To pursue growth and development, the Group adopts the strategy of “New Technology”, “New Market” and “New Business Model”, while our corporate social responsibility effort focuses on caring for our people, supporting the E&M engineering industries, as well as helping the needy in the community. ATAL is also a pioneer in sustainability, supporting the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and incorporating sustainability practices into all aspects of its business. The Group adopts a structured and people-oriented approach to promoting innovation and new technologies among our people, while enhancing the Group’s overall risk management capabilities.
Recognition by a prestigious publication as a listed enterprise of the year is a major morale booster for everyone of us at ATAL, which will no doubt motivate our team to create greater value for our stakeholders.
