Dedicated to developing electrical and mechanical (E&M) engineering professionals, Analogue Holdings Limited (stock code: 1977) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) to join hands in nurturing the next generation of engineering talents and promoting development of the industry.
Under the collaboration, Analogue will provide internships and job opportunities for THEi students, and conduct exchanges with THEi in knowledge, research and product development. The MoU underscores Analogue’s commitment to young talent development, aligning with our Group’s strategic pillar of “Advancing our People” under our Corporate Sustainability Strategy.
Our Group’s Chief Executive Officer Ir Raymond Chan signed the MoU with THEi’s President Professor Alan Lau. Speaking at the signing ceremony, Ir Raymond Chan said, “the MoU marks another milestone in our continuous efforts to invest in E&M talent development and nurture work-ready students and graduates who can adapt to and succeed in a rapidly changing environment.”
The collaboration between Analogue and THEi will benefit students at all levels of the Faculty of Science and Technology, with a focus on those in building services engineering, environmental engineering and management, green engineering and sustainability, and lift and escalator engineering – all key strengths of Analogue. The collaboration will support THEi students to integrate theory with practice and groom future industry leaders for Hong Kong’s smart development.
Analogue has a history of running successful training courses since 1984, including the “Hong Kong Institution of Engineers Scheme A Graduate Training Programme” and the “Vocational Training Council Apprenticeship Programme”, nurturing more than 1,000 graduate trainees and technician trainees for the Group and the industry over the years. Our dedicated training space, ATAL Training Centre, has continued to support our training programmes with innovative technologies.
